Memories of the past
Resurrect at the dawn of the present; and
Grow with the present
Illuminate its shady resignation
Gnaw at its feeble heart
Leave it a crippling mess
Laugh at its Stoic endurance
Pelt it with stony punches.
The present isn’t a slave of the past
Neither is the past the serf of the present
Past is the present; present is the past
Alajobi is the link
Memories of old comfortable privacy;
Reflective thoughts conceived in slumbering mood,
Emotional incursion into loneliness;
Apocalypse of the unknown; and
Storms of the academy-
Create a chasm between the brothers.
Kill the memories and nurse relationship
For as long as memories remain
Love between past and present can never hold.
